Ah well...

..now it all makes more sense!

We had a long chat and what they were really after was a sense of 1940's glamour! So out came the girls! Wearing hats too.

I came up with the idea of a very beautiful young lady's travalogue. I mocked up 4 digital ideas and forward them to my publishing agent - she loves them! She thinks the digital images are great and actually wants to run with them...

..the images get presented to the rest of the team in Germany next week and hopefully they'll be picked for their Autumn catalogue.

The moral of this story is that there will always be a common ground between you and them it just takes a while to find it. In the end we found sepia skylines with a vintage feel and I go to use my beautiful girls too!

I'm really pleased they want to use the digi images too - how much quicker is digital compared to oil? About 10 000 times I'd say - fingers and toes crossed for next week.
